Cookies and local storage.

This notice is the inventory required by the ePrivacy Directive, UK PECR, and CalOPPA. It sits with the privacy policy. Last updated: 3 September 2026.

What we use

We do not set advertising cookies. We do not set analytics cookies. We do not load Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok, or similar. We do not currently need a consent banner because we do not set non-essential cookies.

• addictiveposts.member — local storage, strictly necessary. JSON record (name, email, join time, newsletter flag) so this browser can open the members kitchen you asked for. Duration: until you cancel or clear site data.
• addictiveposts.notes — local storage, strictly necessary as a local copy of a contact note you submitted, alongside the copy emailed to us. Duration: until you clear site data. Capped at 20 notes.
• addictiveposts.contact.at — local storage, strictly necessary. A timestamp so the contact form cannot fire twice in 30 seconds (abuse prevention). Duration: until you clear site data.
• Host cache or session cookies, if the server sets any, only to deliver pages. Not used to advertise.

Legal basis

Strictly necessary storage is exempt from prior consent under ePrivacy Art. 5(3) / PECR because it is required to provide a service you explicitly request (membership, sending a note, stopping bot floods). If we add non-essential storage, this page will list it first and a banner will block those tags until you opt in.

How to refuse or delete

Cancel membership in one click on /members. Or clear this site’s cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Blocking all storage may stop the members kitchen from remembering you. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control are handled in the privacy policy: we do not sell or share, so they do not change a current practice.
